  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1-inch slice of ginger, peeled too chopped
Finish:
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons ghee, butter or oil
  • 1 pocket-size onion, finely chopped
  • pinch of cayenne
  • pinch of asafetida
  • sea tabular array salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon amchoor (dried mango) powder
Garnish:
  • fresh coriander or parsley
